Description:
Ben Franklin Pool: The Ben Franklin pool facility was designed to replace the existing bathhouse and pool facility. The new facility included a bathhouse facility with offices, restrooms, and concessions, a 140 foot long water slide tower, a new 6-lane lap pool with an attached leisure pool and shallow area with water play features. Project goals included using durable materials that blend well with the adjacent residential neighborhood while providing an exciting aquatic experience.
Harlow Pool: The Harlow pool facility was designed to replace the existing bathhouse and pool. The new bathhouse is made of long lasting masonry and oriented to provide better separation from the adjacent busy street. The pool was replaced with a new 140’ long water slide tower, 3-lane lap pool with surf board floatables and basketball hoop, and an attached zero depth pool featuring an interactive pyramid and vertical surf boards water play features.
Holly Pool: This facility was designed to replace the existing bathhouse and pool with a facility that was more accessible for all while also re-adapting an existing structure on site for the pool equipment. The new facility included a bathhouse facility with offices, restrooms, and concessions, a 110’ long water slide tower, a new 6-lane lap pool, a large recreation pool that features a vortex pool, a shallow area with benches, and a zero depth entry with several water play features.
